How to report a wrong value

Send the page, the value you believe is wrong, and the official page or capture that shows otherwise to [email protected].

A report without a source is still read, but a report that cites an official page is the one that can change a published value.

What happens to a report

A confirmed error is corrected on the page and the correction date is restated there. A value that cannot be confirmed is left as it is or marked as unconfirmed; it is never replaced with an estimate, and no value is removed merely to make a page look complete.

What is recorded

Corrections that changed a published value are recorded in the page's own capture note and in the source list, together with the source that established the change.
